Iggy Visits St. Mary’s Spinal Cord Injury Support Group

Iggy visits St. Mary’s Spinal Cord Injury Support Group, a new program offered at St. Mary’s Medical Center in West Palm Beach. The groups purpose is to provide education, share information on available resources and to promote peer relationships between patients, families and caregivers facing the unique challenges of paralysis and other issues involved with spinal cord injuries.

Jeff and Charlie Eagle accompanied by our Training Director Jennifer Bielen were invited to give a presentation about mobility assistance dogs and our very own  Genesis Assistance Dog in Training Iggy made many new friends.

The group will be meeting on the 4th Saturday of each month and would encourage all patients, family members and caregivers to attend.  Meetings are held in the Cypress Room and an RSVP to Antoinette Joseph at 561-882-9100 is greatly appreciated.
