Great Charity Challenge – A Fun Night for Genesis!
The Great Charity Challenge was held on Saturday, February 4, 2017 at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center, Wellington, Florida. The event was a fantastic, family-friendly, and fun-filled event! Genesis Assistance Dogs, Inc. was well represented by many of our supporters, puppy raisers and families, board members and of course our amazing Genesis dogs!
Please click here to view all of the results from the team competition. Genesis Assistance Dogs, Inc. was awarded $16,500.00 of the purse. We are forever grateful to our corporate sponsors Solic Capital and Marron for their generosity and tremendous horsemanship! The competition required great skill and it was amazing to observe the riders and their horses go all-out on on behalf of their assigned non-profits.
We’d be remiss if we didn’t give a special note of recognition to Charlie Eagle, Dana Burger, Quinlyn Janson and Pamela Janson for their energy and creativity in making the gift bags and boxes for our riders and horses! The table was beautifully appointed and the goodies were enjoyed by riders and equine friends alike! The animated movie assigned theme for our team was Winnie the Pooh, and it was taken to new heights by our riders who donned Winnie the Pooh, Eyeore and Tigger costumes while competing.
As you can see from the pictures below the GCC was a colorful and happy event for all involved. Congratulations to all who competed on the behalf of area non-profit organizations.
The Great Charity Challenge is one of the most unique events Genesis Assistance Dogs, Inc. has had the pleasure of participating in and we simply can’t thank them enough for their hospitality and generosity.
