New Puppy for Genesis Assistance Dogs Arrives Soon!
We are excited beyond words!
The newest addition to Genesis Assistance Dogs, Inc. will be arriving in a week. Many of our loyal supporters have wanted to know what goes into selecting a puppy to be a Genesis dog and how the entire process of service dog training in Florida is accomplished.
Beginning the first week of October, we will be launching a 3 year commitment to post monthly blogs that document the growth and progress of his amazing journey. You will be able to track his achievement right along with our trainers and get a sneak peek into the world of mobility assistance dogs. And of course there will be tons of pictures!
Our puppy trainers will be taking videos and pictures of all of the phases of the passage to becoming a full-fledged Genesis Assistance Dog. They will share the hard work along with the enormous joy that goes hand in hand with being a volunteer puppy raiser. Without their dedication to service dog training in Florida and their unbridled love for our dogs, Genesis would not be able to assist the clients who turn to us for help.
We do know that our newest pup is a male from the litter pictures here. He was born at Cloud9 Kennels in DeLand, Florida. Megan Cloudman is one of the most respected breeders of Golden Retrievers in Florida and Genesis has been blessed to have several Cloud9 dogs in our program. We can’t wait to see what Megan has in store for our newest member of the family!
